So I lost my beloved laco pilot watch. It was a very simple watch, just numerals for time, no date or anything, other than the time. It had a sapphire face and back, allowing me to see the internals. So after a year of searching the house, I have given up. I need a new watch. Wondering if anyone could point me towards a new watch that is similar to the one I described above. Simple (no date), nice materials, and waterproof band (although this could be purchased later). This is the only picture I can find at the moment of my lost watch Google image Any other great watches out there in the range of 300 to 500? I prefer auto, but not limited to it.
Why not another Laco? I just received one as a gift and love it. The CountyComm Maratac Titanium Field Watch might tick your boxes. https://countycomm.com/collections/whats-new/products/titanium-field-automatic-watch-by-maratac Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Looks a bit like the seiko snk809. Sorry, but your Laco looked miles better. Also that strap.. If you like a similar style to the laco, there is the seiko 5 snzg15k1.. there is a whole bunch of versions of the humble seiko 5 and some look really great. if you want to spend a bit more, you might like the Hamilton field watches..
I love watches without dates. People say I'm weird, but I have a phone and no need to know the date. Loving this new watch though, feels comfortable (like my old laco), has the sapphire back, and can't wait to wear it more often. I'm a sushi chef so I can't wear it at work.
