I confess. I've been bit enough times by various knives that I do not even attempt one hand closing anymore. :banghead: And never without actually looking at what I'm doing. :nah_disagree:

Ok. All y'all can stop laughing now!

It has been a while since I've been bitten probably trying to catch a falling Leatherman Wave.

A little tip; cayenne pepper which you may have in your cupboards helps prevent infection and stops the bleeding quite quickly if added to a paper towel and held against the cut! Although I'm sure Quikclot is more tactical ;)

That's interesting! One more reason to carry a little keychain vial of cayenne pepper at all times! Bet you the pepper is more easily absorbed and metabolized over time than the Quikclot!

Quick clot is not absorbed or metabolized. It requires to be surgically removed and there will most likely be a requirement to debride the area as well.

My new PohlForce was literaly just fresh out of the box for 30 seconds when it cut my finger and stabbed my handpalm. I guess now i know why they call these knives tactical, they are agressive little buggers.

    Was it a knife? Nope.
    Multitool? Nah. Even more dangerous.

    My daughter.

Someone figured out how her teeth work.

The Nirvana finally bit me a little. Drew some blood; now it's really mine like the others.

That's ok. It just means that it's claimed you. All of mine have bitten me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Also, congrats on the H1! Someday I want to have several more DF2s and that will be one of them. I think I want the SB and G10 versions first though. :D

Well my luck just ran out. New ZT 0456 hates me...the jury still out on whether it stays.

Ouch! My tip up Benchmade 580 g10 limited bit me last night. Reached into my pocket and somehow the knife was slightly open. Big, deep, and long cut. Bled while wrapped in paper towels and applying pressure for almost an hour. Probably needed stitches. Superglued the cut, covered with a bandage and finger cot. Pics later.

Sorry Patrick, but the bearings must have just set in properly and this thing flips like crazy now! It's a keeper for sure, one the best production knives I've ever purchased.
