    Thanks Keymaster,

I really hope that they will try to keep that way as lesser and lesser stuff are made in usa these days.
That is why I really like the Kifaru. Although their prices are higher but you know that you are getting the best.

    Kifaru makes jackets?
TAD's nylon gear is still made in the USA, and a bunch of jackets is still made in the USA as well. Their merino wool items and anything that is seam welded is made offshore.

    Yes, they do actually.

As for the Ranger Hoodie, I have one and it's an ok fleece jacket. Comfortable, warm, wind resistant, surprisingly water resistant as well and all that. But it's also bulky, especially the hood, which makes it inconvenient as a layering piece. And for all its tacticoolness, it only has a couple of useful pockets. Worth the price? Sort of, yes, but I don't think I'd buy one again.

One thing that puzzles me--if there is a demand for something, why not keep up your production or supply of that product? I see countless threads of people wanting a TAD fleece and seemingly on an endless quest to score one. So why not make more? I don't understand why they wouldn't make more of something that is so "hot" and sells out with each run. A lot of knifemakers do this as well. I never understood it.

    Tom,

    Now I cried TWICE!!
I ordered a full X-ray with lots of accessories and also just pull the trigger on a FASTPACK EDC.

I just got a fastpack edc too, zero regrets. I planted the seed for a hoodie for father's day.

My Ranger has also been my go-to jacket for the past two winters. Quality and fit are great. I'll be looking for another jacket late summer/fall.
