How do you lose "keychain" lights? Do you lose your keychain as well? My original Tube is a good three years old and works as well today as when I first got it. Rarely used so maybe that's why. I almost bought the Tip SE last month to add to a couple keychains (and replace my Tube) but I ended up with two of the new Tubes (V2) instead. I carry a keychain flashlight but I really have little need for them. I keep a couple more powerful lights in my vehicles.
Is it an original Sidekick? I believe they changed this after they first came out. Mine blinks a couple times when plugged in then stays off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
From the current Surefire Sidekick user manual............ "Insert the micro-USB end of the included cable into the port on Sidekick then insert the USB end into a wall (AC) or car (DC) using appropriate connector. The light will continuously flicker while connected to a power source to signal a proper connection. Full charge cycle may take up to 3 hours. The LED will constantly illuminate at the low output setting when fully charged."
So so light. I wish it was a bit more durable, as mine has had the Plastic cover pop open. Decent color, wide beam, short throw.
I have had three to date. The first two failed (stopped charging). Each time Surefire replaced them. I still have the third one ( a replacement) but stopped carrying it. I know have an O-light on my keychain.
