Nice! Do you work with carbon fiber? I want a pair of scales for my old Benchmade. it's a 1999 3200 automatic. It's my first Benchmade and I've have it 16 years. I'll send the scales that are on it to ya if you'd like to take care of it for me. If possible I'd like them to be marbled carbon fiber Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
Beautiful work on the handle, and nice innovative design. With slight modification to the design, it could be built to hold spare blades in the handle.
Henry arms at the moment I'm not doing any folder work but once I upgrade my drill press to something a little more accurate I'll be doing custom handle scales and a few folding designs of my own. Once I get started on folder work check back with me and I may be able to help you out. MedusaOblongata a spare blade holder is on my list of things to work out in the future.

Hi Mykel, Awesome design and build. As a Journeyman Carpenter by trade, I've been carrying a utility knife for some 40 years. Your design takes the cake for craftsmanship. Very nice and I want one. Welcome to EDC and I will be checking out your other wares. PM to follow.
Received my M.E.K. Special Edition ... I am super pleased with my utility type tool. I snagged this black micarta version with copper liners and copper bead. Simply stunning. Excellent all around and the build quality is superb. The black leather sheath is super nice and retains and protects the blade perfectly ... nice and snug. A very unique custom handmade piece of handy kit and highly recommend ... my hat is off to Mykel for creating such a fine blade. Well worth the price. Many Thanks.
I'm glad you like it weklund, those copper liners are one of my favorite looks on a knife. I plan to do some experimenting soon with different woods and micarta alongside the copper so there will be more to come.
