It was great. Very well thought out. I saw it in Imax. I put a Coke in the freezer way too soon before we left, and I thought that by 7:20 or so it would be mostly thawed and I could open it. WRONG!! I had Coke all over the floor at my seat for the whole movie. Plus, I think I had legroom anxiety, and I had to slouch to keep the seat from reclining. It lifts my feet off the floor and my legs just dangle. I hate those seats. You can't control them.
Haven't seen the movie yet, but I noticed in the trailer that McConaughey (had to google how to spell that) is rockin a sweet Hamilton Khaki Pilot watch
The props master should get an Oscar! S/He did an awesome job. (I don't know what you call the guy/girl who picks all the stuff for the movie.)
Just saw this last night, really enjoyed it, more looking back than at the time, it was a little hard to watch in places. I don't mean bad, just emotional. The story was really consistent too, no real that just doesn't make sense type moments. I'm sure someone will pick a fault in it somewhere but I really liked it.
The movie was written intelligently, and as you say, consistently, staying true to scientific theory, unlike some low budget trash flicks that I've seen, like 7500. There's 97 minutes I'll never get back. Absolute Zero was another bad one. Jeff Fahey must have been desperate for cash. What a horrible movie!
