The Paracord 2L, for storing and working paracord, is a small, simple, inexpensive molded-plastic unit that neatly stores up to 100' of 550 cord, and it has a ruler, blade, lighter, and burn slots built in so you can measure, cut and then heat seal the ends. Kind of an all-in-one-tool for paracord. (I think the burn slots for finishing off the ends are a clever idea.)

A Kickstarter campaign at this point, so if you dig it, throw your support behind it.

Looks very much like a (modified) crab fishing spool I had as a kid.

I am liking it though I want to see it in a milled aluminum. Then would only need one maybe two burn holes. Plus the whole thing could be skeletonized lighten up the weight. Also maybe a little arm that would hinge inward and close the burn hole opening making it completely round. Sweetness. Maybe a second size option to carry 100 feet in two or three colors

That's a handy thing to have around. Since I make paracord bracelets, etc to sell this would be nice (and costly) storage system but it will help with measuring and cutting while the customer is waiting.

Anyone have one of these? They're pretty new, but it seems to be an excellent way to carry 50' of 550 cord. Currently only available through their Facebook store. I'm going to be ordering a couple in the near future. Hoping its as good in practice as it looks.

Found a review of it. Looks to be a pretty good size.

Hahaha, I dunno Diecast. I just saw it yesterday and wish I had 10 of them. I remember seeing this or something similar on kickstarter awhile ago. I don't know what became of it and didn't remember it until I saw the Spool Tool

Mauser saw this quite a while back and could not find that brass tool again. I was actually looking for some brass to make one. You don't by chance have another one?
