My favorite is a Spyderco ParaMilitary2. Just has the perfect size, weight and feel for me. I have a black on black, and just love this knife.

Well, I'm beginning to ponder a change of heart. My rotation this week is my Buck Ranger 112 -- a 3 inch version of the 110. I'm liking it on my belt a lot. So MAYBE just MAYBE my EOTWAWKI folder could be either the 112 OR even better, a 110. Yeah, 420HC is not a high end steel. But Buck does a good job on it. There are decades of field tests by a lot of knife knuts demonstrating how dependable these are. Plus not a difficult knife to keep usably sharp. Could be this is a way to go!

    L'chaim!

There are a lot of factors that I would have to consider before making my decision.
If the folding knives includes all multitools and SAKs, then it would most likely be a SAK Fieldmaster.
If folding knives are just single blade knives excluding multitools/SAKs, then it would still come down to is it a survival/EOTWAKI scenario or everyday life?
    If survival/EOTWAKI then Benchmade Vector.
If it is normal everyday life, then I have to be concerned about knife law compliance in areas that I sometimes travel, in which case it would need to be sub-3in, manual with good detent and no wave, most likely the ZT0900 or WE Rectifier.

    That's fair points right there.

In an EOTWAWKI scenario and it couldn't be a MT, then I'd grab my BM 520 Presidio from my collection. Of course for normal circumstances in the UK... It'd have to be my Spyderco BB Urban.

If I could have any knife in either scenario, then I'd go custom Shirogorov locker for TEOTWAWKI, and custom Shing for JAD edc slip joint..

    Parawolf......
for me it would have to be Rugged (Obviously) since it’s a folder , excellent lockup and no wiggle. A lock , and a blade shape that can handle a multitude of tasks. So, for me it this ..... Gerber 06 in S30V ....10th Anniversary Model

If I can only have one /knife/, it's :censored: sure not going to be a multi-tool. There is plenty of room in this hypothetical for other tools.

Right now I'd take my Dwyer SMF.

I've become a real fan of the Steel Will Cutjack C22-2BK, M390 steel and G10 scales.
We have not been parted since I bought it.

My fishing friend was impressed with the sharpness too, when he handled it. He thought his braid was up for replacement because the knife went through it so easily. Only after me demonstrating it's sharpness on new braid, he decided not to replace it.

Thankfully I don't have to choose just one, but if I did I think I would have an 85% Grimsmo Norsemen made. Maybe some exotic materials and other customizations thrown in too.

I am so impressed with this knife, especially after taking it apart.
