That's the same method I use to sharpen my knives, and I actually learned a majority of it from his videos, as well. And yeah, he sure can sharpen a knife, I love both of my Carter neckers, too, they're amazing knives and wicked sharp.
Contrary to what people believe about there not being a perfect knife, I honestly believe that the wharncliffe pictured is my perfect knife.
Glad you understand. I wasn't trying to offend, I just wasn't sure if you had read that the topic was to choose only one folding knife, not a listing of knives of the same caliber.
ZT 302... wait, that's the one I have. That or a Strider SNG.
Benchmade Mini-Grip, drop point, plain blade, thumb stud.
I am not going to, but I could easily justify a Buck 110 as my "one and only." It is far from my favorite knife but it handles a wide range of situations and uses.
If I was forced to pick one knife it would have to be an Axis-lock Benchmade. I think the Axis lock is an elegant mechanism - simple and solid. I can open and close an Axis equipped knife faster than any of my other knives (and I am as much a Spydie guy as anything else).
It was a tough choice between several Benchmades but my "one and only" would be the HK 14205.
This is the best picture I found online:
That would be Mick custom..
I'd choose a spyderco military, any flavor would do.
An Emerson Commander, strong like a tank and sharp as a razor.
In 2nd place (and close to Emerson) my Delica 4 ZDP-189
Legality issues for travel aside, I don't have to think long about this one - definitely a Spyderco Caly 3 PE. Nothing fancy, just the normal VG-10/G-10 version.
spyderco Sage 1. I'm madly in love with this knife. It fits PERFECTLY in my hands. I love the blade shape, the jimped choil, the loud SNAP you get when you flick it open, the deep carry discreet wire pocket clip, the beautiful and tactile carbon fiber, the easy-to-clean open design, the light yet not-too-light weight, the S30V steel... everything about it is exactly what I look for in a knife.
This, of course, has not stopped me from buying more thereafter
Probably a Delica4, although what I carry most often are a Wharcom and a Keycom.
Depends on whether I'm stranded on a desert island or still living in Gotham City.
Here in Gotham we're limited in what we can realistically carry.
Extrema Ratio’s 185° RAO Hybrid (Target Acquisition Regiment)
I don't own one, but I will .
BE WELL .. GH
Hmmm tough question... it's between my BM MPR, or the SureFire folding knife.
Spyderco Delica 4 sabre grind. Good all-round blade, light, legal most everywhere. relatively inexpensive and people friendly. Sabre grind is more durable than ffg and although I shouldn't use a blade for prying sometimes the situation calls for it.
Flat-ground Sebenza. Not easy to come by but much nicer then the standard hollow ground. And has Chris Reeves signature on the blade as a bonus.
plain and simple vic soldier! a wonderful easy to carry knife that i wouldnt mind if i break or lose as they are inexpensive
Benchmade mini-griptilian with the hole. the 555hg to be exact.
My Spyderco Military with seeming unlimited utility.
Oh, no, wait, do SAKs count? If they do, than it would be a Victorinox Huntsman. If they don't, see my last post here.
Spyderco Endura 4 full flat ground...with the blue FRN handle
