I will give it a shot.
I have been dying to get this for the longest I can't justify it though. There are knockoffs for about $5 but Sinclair is quality compared to the China made. I might get it just to see how it can hold up in tough conditions.
Sent from my Android toothbrush!
Four months had elapsed and no trace of the light. Ms Tomlin kept on answering that due to the huge backlog of orders the turn of my order was not yet coming ...
At this point I asked for a refund which, I must say, was processed the very same day. They promised to notify me when the light will be available, I say if and when.
Apologies for bumping up this topic, but...
Cardsharp 3 ordered on Jan 13; Cardsharp 2.2 on Feb 7. Should I wait or ask for a refund?
If i was In you, no doubt: ask for refund.
I noticed a bunch of "survival" sites are giving away knock offs of this knife for "free"!
Around Christmas time, I was gettin together stuff to send to a buddy for Christmas, so I figured I could give him one of these.
I went to the site where it was "free", sat through 30 minutes of presentations and offers, made sure to uncheck those pesky boxes that get you to sign up for crap, skipped some "low price offers for only 30 minutes!", paid $2.95 for shipping, got it in, my email proceeded to be spammed like mad, eventually unsubscribed from emails, had to trim parts on the crappy knife for it to work, wondered why I spent $3 on it.
I've got an genuine original cardsharp...kinda pre ordered on a whim...carried in wallet for about a week - showed it off - went in the drawer...kinda illegal in uk I was told.

without reading even half your post I can tell you without a doubt that knife is the biggest piece of crap I have ever owned. if it was made with real materials it would be pretty cool.
I've tried cutting up coardboard with a cardsharp. it worked, but the gimping on the spine cut my thumb. These days a nemesis ti-card suits my card-knife needs, and I use a non-card knife on cardboard.
The original credit card knife.... circa early '80s
