I think I'll stick with my spydercard.

Yeah, I just wish the card lights weren't permanently sealed (i.e. no battery swap). Landfill fodder. :eek:/

    +1

The ergonomics of the Spydercard still amaze me after all these years. It feels great in the hand.

The CardSharp looks interesting, but I have serious questions about the quality of the materials used. I like my knives to hold an edge and stand up to regular use. Guess I'll have to wait for some reviews.

Don't know, I would much rather have a Spydercard.

What about a Boker Subcom? A little thicker maybe, but the price is sure right.

I saw the video of that clever little knife just this week. On backorder until late January or February from the Knife Center (for 19.95). I'd be interested in holding one and trying it out.

The Byrd version is nice too. Too bad both versions have now been discontinued.

The spydercard keeps avoiding me, they usually are for sale when I have order some other stuff, and when I can buy them I can never find one

I saw this too. I think it's a great concept, but I worry about the materials. If you look closely at the pictures it appears that the blade is made of stainless (no problem there) but the rest of it seems to be plastic. I would worry about the folds eventually wearing out and breaking. Not sure if this is the case, but definately worth looking into.

I see these can be had engraved and have a logo put on the card and or blade.

Thinking about an EDCF logo on this. Waiting to hear back from them.

thanks for the up on that lil' beauty, rev! did you happen to notice the flashlight they are taking orders on? they're anticipating a march delivery date with about an $80 price tag. you can reserve one now for half of that amount.

it sounds like the hot ticket with a built-in rechargeable power source, sporting a whopping 230 lumens in "hyperbright" mode. it, too, is about the size of a credit card, weighing only 43 grams.

i'm gonna evoke the *24 hour rule here on both of these items. but, :censored:! both of these babies were designed with EDC in mind.

*the 24 hour rule is designed to curtail my natural predisposition for impulsive purchases.
