I wish I could go back to when my daughter little and spend way more time with her and worry less about work.
Whatever you do don't listen to the song " sleeping beauty" by Jimmy Dean Yes I'm that old and my necks that red! Just remember I told you not to. Sent from my iPhone using Craptap
I wish corporations weren't considered people. I wish politicians were drug tested for the drugs they make the laws against. I wish the Press was held to a higher standard and would actively debate topics, instead of being part of the problem. I wish a pocket knife and handkerchief was mandatory for all adults. Along with education, of course. And my most controversial wish for sure... I wish aliens would visit Earth in a very visible and media savvy way, and pretty much debunk the very notion of religion in all its forms.... and maybe, just maybe we could all start getting along with each other, and do something productive.
I wish we all owned Minions to do our random chores that we all avoid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wish... ...that Hershey bars still came in sleeve packaging. ...that snow would never stick to roads. ...that I could switch back to a flip phone. ...that spiders could understand boundaries. ...that if you know someone online for a full decade without meeting in person you win an all expense paid trip together. ...that I could win just a portion of the lottery. ...that I could have one more conversation with each of those I lost touch with.
I wish... ...that I was able to teach Science full time ...that I spent more time in the woods ...that my wife would be happy and and had everything she ever needed ...that I could get any knife I wanted for free ...and bag
the kind of wishes I can work towards: health. being better prepared for things in general (adulting, as some may call it) paying off the credit cards nicer furniture/gadgets/residence (not gonna think too hard on this til the credit cards are done) rocksteads, medfords, other high-end knives the kind of wishes that are completely fantastical: Heart of Gold spaceship from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Infinite Improbability Drive that can go anywhere/do anything, lightsabers in the kitchen, and Pan Galactic Gargleblaster fixins in the bar. nothing could go wrong that the ship couldn't fix. lighsaber. any. a yoda-sized or smaller one would be more practical, but Kylo Ren's would be more impressive. telekinesis. super-power of choice for people who are comfortably seated and don't want to have to get up for things.
i wish i could win the lottery or publishers clearinghouse lotto. either of those would take care of any other wish i have or may have.
I wish - that you all get your wishes - that I win a Powerball of over $500million and live a long and happy life spending it and giving it away
Umm... GiraffeHooves, how dare you bump the thread and not post some wishes of your own Hmm... I wish for the typical lottery win... not that I play the lottery, but money does solve most problems. Lacking that... In a book I read once, the main character is in a near death situation and writes an unnecessary goodbye letter in which he wishes he had a dog, a house, and a wife. Me too. I wish I wasn't so dependent on my parents. I wish I was more sociable and had more friends. I wish I was more ambitious and could get all the things I've dreamt about doing done. I wish there was a cure for all the evil diseases out there. Mainly Cancer, Alzheimer's, etc., but also weirder and rarer lesser known diseases. My cousin (5 years old) has a rare genetic disorder called AHC or Alternating Hemiplegia in Childhood. She's such a brilliant personality, but her condition has many tough symptoms and weakens her to the point where she spends a lot of time in a wheel chair simply because she doesn't have the energy to be on her feet. I wish my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins lived closer so I could see them more often. I work with children with special needs and while I don't necessarily wish their conditions didn't exist (some can actually be beneficial, like autism) (Others can be so inspiring when they overcome the weaknesses their conditions cause); I wish they all receive the support they need to become productive and successful members of society. I wish politicians could be true to the root word of politician and treat each other with respect. Between the primary election bickering and the state vs city mess in Atlantic City, I don't know who to hate more. But... I don't want to hate anyone. I wish there was a way to convince the human population as a whole to do more to keep from polluting our planet. I wish the world would learn more from its mistakes. Seriously people why can't we all just get along and help each other instead of killing each other. So, yeah I think I just revealed more about myself than I meant to, but it's nice to get all of that out. Oh, and I wish you all the best.
Lol very true Water-Rat. I was trying to figure out what was still up but I wish it would rain more in Vegas and that I get better at leather work. You did a great job with your wishes and put a lot of ours to shame. Your a good man to do what you do
Anyone here old enough to remember a television series named "Wake a Wish" hosted by Tom (the late Harry's younger brother) Chapin? Google it. It was a fine production.
I wish I would win the lottery, and I could help my whole family and my friends financially. And all the people and charities that I wish to. I wish for world peace. I wish we would all come from a place of love. I wish the power of love would overcome the love of power.
I wish the petroleum company that leased the land we own would start drilling for oil and gas. We could use the additional income.
