During the summer I went to get a surgery done, the clinic decided I needed a different surgeon and sent me to the hospital. Within no time I was doing worse. I went back to the clinic, they asked me why the hospital didn't pack the wound. I wondered that myself as wound packing has been routine for me and ten feet of packing was normal.. Things medically have been downhill since then. My normal cocktail of antibiotics has been Rifampin, Clindomycyn, and Bactrim. I'm not sure how many times I have been cut on this year. All the antibiotics have been making me really sick but soon after i finish a round I am infected again. I was at the clinic Monday and will be back today. This round of antibiotics they dropped the clindomycyn but it seems that was a mistake, the infection is growing while on Rifampin and Bactrim. I am going into the clinic again today, I have been refusing pain medications but I am going to ask for them this time. I am going to asked them to add back the clindomysyn and I imagine they will be cutting on me today. They did mention something that they said would work, they said they might have to cut out the whole section. I''m not sure what that actually means yet. If it will work I will take it, I have not been functional and am collecting some other ailments. I have been sleeping more than I have been awake for quite sometime now. I need to find away to reverse this. A lot more is going on, I still haven't figured out everything when the host had the IP bouncing issue which made a huge mess.
Get well soon Jon. I'm sure you know that all of us here have been worried about you, thank you for taking the time to let us know what is going on. My wife has some health issues that sound very similar to yours and they can be very frustrating to deal with. I'll be praying for you.
From being down this road myself it sounds like you might need to visit an infectious disease clinic/ specialist. I hope you get well soon brother
Thank you for 'talking' to us about your health. What a challenge! I hope you get some relief today and things get better going forward. Sending an electronic hug and positive thoughts for you.
Glad to hear from you Jon, was getting a bit worried. Get well soon, do what you need to do so you can get past this.
Second suggestion for a wound care/infectious disease specialist. Too many bad bugs out there and too much that could go wrong. Be your own best advocate. Good idea to know what's going on. RxList and Medlineplus are good places to look up info. Free and enough of it is in plain English. That's what the pros use also. Get healed up and stay well. Give 'em a light and they'll follow it anywhere.
Get well soon. Things always seem to get worse right before they start to get better. And eat lots of garlic, and maybe colloidal silver.
'It's gone from bad to worse. I was really hoping they would cut on me they refused because my temperature is 102.6. They are wondering if I have a blood infections. They said I do need to be cut on but not until this is taken care of. I don't understand how I could have a blood infection with all the antibiotics I have been on since the start of Summer. The clinic thinks I will probably been in the hospital overnight.
Sorry to hear of your health problems Jon. I hope the docs get to the bottom of it soon and get you on the road to recovery.
