But I am an EDC guy so I had to come up with a solution.

I didn't want to strap my BOB on me at all times. And I didn't want to go without the little things I like to keep close by.

If you don't have your gear with you, you don't have your gear.

So I was looking for a small belt pouch. The number one main requirement was that it was quickly removable and then easy to reattach to my belt. I wanted something that I could take off, dig around in and then throw back on my belt.

Like a mini belt purse.

Anyhow, so going through my gear this is what I came up with. It's the Maxpedition Tactical Can Case. I don't actually dip but I had this to store my headlamp in. I threw on a clip that I found in one of my spare parts boxes here it is.

With some of my other gear.

I like this idea. I did something similar with a Maxpedition Volta that I had lying around.

I carry all my EDC items that I would normally carry in my pocket in a Micro Maxpedition Bag (5.5 X 3.5 X 1) on my belt.

Nice repurposing of gear you already had. Very resourceful. I'm glad it's working for you.

Thanks guys. It has been working very well for me.

I wish I could remember where I got this clip because I would like to set up another pouch this way as well. One for everyday walking around and one for working.

How do you attach that to your belt may I ask?

I just attached the bag to my belt with a paracord loop through the handle. By doing it that way, you can have it tight to the belt or loose.
