That is awesome! I need something like that for urban enviornment. Maybe it can change to a bus stop scene or a McDonalds play land.

Part of me thinks it's cool from a technological viewpoint

Part of me wonders what happens at the color phase temperature boundary when you throw in variables like:
    1. wind chill
    2. temperature differences in sun/shade.
Still another part wonders about our continued efforts to gain technological advantage over the fearsome... turkey. :frantic:

Its definitely cool. But it changes at 65 degrees. I can see how it'd be great if it was cold, of hot out, but spring and fall Turkey season means that its green camo in the morning and brown afternoon. Unless your adapting your location so your background matches, then you may stand out more later in the day:rolleyes:

Well, it is obviously far from perfect, SAKp, but the evolutionary leap is pretty interesting.

Now they just need to invent a way to fill the bullets with stuffing so they stuff the bird and kill it in one shot. For added bonus, a tracer round that coats it in gravy.

    Evolutionary.... yes....
    Leap.... not really.

I expect it's a tweaked application of something similar to:

    Gennera Hypergrafix/Hypercolor circa 1991

Color changing sleep suits by Babyglow for detecting fevers.

    Radiate Athletics currently on KS

The biggest difference is that these products reacted more to the wearer than the environment, but Under Armour even touched on that with a seasonal color change hoodie and similar apparel.

Expect Comcast and Fios has left us jaded and we are still waiting on the "On Demand" (at 0:50 in the video) version. ;)

Oh my.... that was an incredibly geeky post. :frantic:

    Stuffing is evil

(although AB later retracted that statement)

Stuffing is not inherently evil.... but bad things can be done to/with stuffing depending on the cook.

There are also disturbing rumors that some cooks can turn cheese cake into a force for evil.:frantic:

This isn't new technology, I had a couple Genera T-shirts in the 80s that changed colors with body heat and Del Sol sells shirts that turn different colors when the sun hits it. These changed much more drastic that the camo stuff, notice he used his hand's body heat to alter the color. I'm kind of surprised it took this long for the technology to move into the hunting industry.
