    WOOO!

After using a Vic Deluxe Tinker for a long while (like a long while), I've always yearned for file like when I have my full sized MTs.

While poking around my fave eBay sellers I found my perfect SAK!

    Behold! The Victorinox Trouble Shooter!

(Not shown are the hook and the awl)

Everything I want and matches my full size MT but in a super small package. It's long since been discontinued but I am going to keep on looking for more.

    Now...custom plus scales....

It's not a Marlboro one, although its the one that you can get now.

I want to make custom scales for it.

That's awesome. Ive never seen one with a flat head on the bottom. It almost looks like it has a filed edge.

So, same tool set but not Marlboro branded and different name? What kind of scale material do you have in mind?

It's actually a chisel. It's on the file layer.

I have this amazing set of scales from a digital SAK with the T&T and pen on one side, ill RIT dye it. I'll likely make the otherside with peelply g10.

Yah. I can't seem to find anymore

    What is Marlboro one called?

That sounds great. Pics please! :)

I just did a little Google Fu. It seems there were multiple Marlboro SAKs with different tool sets. The Marlboro SAK with this tool set was also called the Troubleshooter, it seems. Shame they discontinued it. Nice find, Eric!

My Champion is around 15–20 years old and has both, fine flat head (the upper one in the picture) and chisel on the bottom side.

I just found two of these SAK's in my drawer that are identical to the one first posted in this thread. I am not sure where I got them, but could someone give me an idea of their value.I may try to trade one since I have no need for both. They both need cleaning up and have a few small scratches on the scales but the tools and knives are in perfect shape. I am not really what you would consider a SAK collector so my knowledge of them is very limited. I have a stayglow Rambler and have been looking at a few Alox but that's all I know about SAK's really.

Look 'em up on eBay and see what they go for.
