Washing machine / air dry. That's what I've done in the past anyway.

When my GR1 got real dirty, I just took it outside, hosed it down, and went at it with a brush and bucket of soapy (Dawn) water. Then let it hang dry.

Tie it off in a pillow case. Machine wash, no spin cycle. Air dry.

Yeah that's my MO. I use my car washing bucket and brush. Little bit of laundry soap a little bit of dish soap in a bucket. Dip the scrub brush in the bucket and go to town. Then rinse er off with the hose.

I usually give mine a bath in the kitchen sink. Warm/hot water and slosh them around a little bit, turn them inside out and do it all over again. It is fun to see how waterproof they are by picking them up while they are full and watch where they leak! (Usually the zippers!)

Then I usually hang them up to dry inside out and when it feels dry to the touch turn them right side in and let them hang unzipped for another couple of days.

Yarp, exactly like that. Easy peasy, at least for Cordura fabrics and the like. Don't know that I would do that on my Khard.

Ditto. Although I have yet to try it with an expensive bag I guess most decent bags should survive the washing machine. The only thing that I know can go wrong on a non-POS bag is if there is a backing coating on the interior to help with protecting against moisture you should not put it in the dryer, as Cannibal alluded. They can flake and shed badly and you'll be cleaning your dryer drum for weeks and never be able to use the bag again without getting whatever you put in there covered with tons of tiny pieces of rubbery plastic...

when i spilled coffee on my evade i took out to my patio and hosed it down then took a scrub brush and some Castile soap and scrubbed here and there and then rinsed again and let it air dry. I havent seen any damage to the color or whatever layer of water repellent was inside on the cordura.
