use www.tinypic.com I have had problems with every other pic hosting site, but tinypic seems to always work well.
I use SmugMug. Good service and very functional site. Plus it's a family-owned business. That appeals to me.
I just posted a picture using Picasa. Took a few to figure it out, but I got it. It seems to me there should be an easier way.... Kenn
In another forum I'm on, folks just couldn't understand how to post pics. Here's the tutorial I did up for them: Alright gang, here it is: a step by step to post pictures on the forum. Step 1: Go to http://register.photobucket.com/ Step 2: Come up with a username and password. Step 3: fill in the rest of the information Click "Skip" on the next page
Alright! Now you've signed up, and can post pictures to your photobucket account. Do do that: Click "upload" and chose your photo(s) If you want to crop your photo I'll talk about that later. Click return to album after you're done adding information to your photos (optional) Click on the photo you want to post, look in the bottom left of the page. Click the "Img Code" link once and it will flash the word "copied". You can now right click on this forum in a post to paste the link, or hit CTL+V. ALTERNATIVELY: From your main page, mouse over your photo, highlight the IMG Code (click and drag) and copy (CTL+C) then paste.
To crop images: upload a photo and click 'edit', or click 'edit' by mousing over while viewing a photo and looking at the toolbar. Click Crop. highlight the portion you want to crop and click "Crop the selected area" Click save as or Replace original, your choice. Post as normal!
Tried IS and TinyPic there - TP wants me to enter one of those crazy captcha things each upload, can only make out one in 3 of them!Tried registering, and it registered me on Photobucket, but the subsequent email/password combo doesn't ACTUALLY work on tinypic... weird. IS works a treat.
Just got my HEST back from Linda, the blade was resting against the spacer on the back of the knife. Looks like lionsteel sent out a new one. Great customer service.
http://minus.com/ works really whell for quick uploads. You just need to drop the file in the browser window and its uploaded
