It must be state of the art if you can run Tapatalk on it!
20 goto 10
What if your bike fails? Might be a good idea to at least carry a small keychain light or microstream.
You know, I miss writing BASIC. I once wrote a video poker game in qbasic. It was amazing how much code was needed to make the computer figure out what hand you had. I eventually was able to drastically reduce the code by using variable loops. Still, I was pretty impressed with myself for being able to reduce the steps into some pretty tight algorithms.
Pretty simple stuff for a programmer, but a big accomplishment for me.
Sent from my Commadore 64 using Tapatalk 2
Bicycle as opposed to motor cycle fitted with a 600lmn main light and a couple of backup loop lights.
The commute is short and is lit with street lighting on the whole route.
It would be unlikely that my main light would fail but if it did the loop lights would be plenty to keep me seen by other road users even if the street lights were out.
What if there is a Zombie Apocalypse!!! You need a Flashlight!!!
Well assuming that what I have with me works then I'm all set for the Zombie Apocalypse with the NiteRider that can detach from the handlebar and do duty as a flashlight.
Though if I was thrust into the centre of the zombie Apocalypse I wouldn't be wanting to use a flashlight for fear of attracting the zombies... Well not until I got myself back home to my zombie wrecking bag and to the safety of standing behind my wife... She has some serious skills for disabling any attacker living or undead.
3, soon to be 4 when my Quantum DD arrives.
-Niterider 150 for bicycle
-Fenix L2D in Pack-Rat
-Fenix E05 on tool keychain
My set up is changing to...five. Woah man!
The brighter the ambient lighting the darker the shadows it will cast. (Comparatively to our adapted eyes)
I know I've used my lights after losing something under a car seat on a bright day or in the wire jungle behind a desk in a brightly lit office.
Wow, didn't realize how many I was carrying.
1 keychain energizer LED light in cargo pocket
1 streamlight stylus pro in Admin pouch on EDC
1 streamlight microstream in admin pouch on EDC
1 photon microlight on lanyard inside EDC bag
1 penlight in FAK
1 led light on the end of the battery powered red glowstick on the outside of my EDC bag.
I also have a streamlight nano on my keychain, but doesn't count at the moment because the batteries are dead.
Do I need to lose a few lights? lol
^of course not! Just think of how important light is!?
Maratac AAA copper in left front pocket.
FourSevens mini 123x in keychain.
V10r and SF G2X in Maxped jumbo
Admitting that you have a bunch of lights is the first step...in deciding you need a new light...sorry, theres no hope for you, either
I've been EDCn my Zebralight in my Skinth and my AAA Copper Maratac in my right front pocket at work, but just the Copper Maratac while off. I rarely need it when off work so its nice to have the 1xAAA since its so tiny. But recently at work I used the 1xAAA for everything. Zebralight looks good in the Skinth, but it hasn't moved for a couple days
I hope you don't put flux on it and try to solder it to a pipe you're working on.
Always at least one, usually more.
ONE IS NONE!
Usually just two.
Fenix P3D and either
Fenix E01 or
Maratac AAA Rev 1 SS
Well, I did see a LED Lenser that I wanted to try out....hmmmmm.
4-5 Depending on what I am doing.
