At Work Two: Surefire 6PX Pro and a Gen 1 Maratac AAA. Outside of Work: Maratac AAA and/or a Nitecore Extreme. I have alot of other lights that I rotate through, but this is my current setup.
Klarus Mi10 on my keyring ( use this the most by far) 4Sevens Preon 2 in my shirt pocket ( when I need more than 80 lumens) EagleTac D25LC2 in pants pocket ( when things go bump in the night)
Two. Fenix PD20 and the little freebie that came with a Leatherman gift set (which, incidentally, is surprisingly good) though that's a placeholder whilst I research a replacement.
I carry a Fenix e11 and use it constantly looking behind tvs and crawling in attics and crawl spaces. What a fantastic light for my job (Dish Network tech). I really couldnt be happier. I carry a DX 200 lumen light and my Microstream in my bag for emergencies and a backup. Sent from my Commadore 64 using Tapatalk 2
I carry two. A tiny streamlight nano on my keychain. Great for finding keyholes on a dark porch. In my bag I have a streamlight stylus pro. It feels good in the hand and gives me extra light if I happen to be caught outside in the dark or need to find something on the floor. Don't feel a need to carry more than that. The stylus pro is not fancy by any standard, but it is serviceable, lightweight and gets the job done.
Photon on my keychain, HDS 140 clicky or EagleTac Ti D-25 in pocket normally. Have been known to carry my Malkoff if I think I need more light than the HDS can put out.
For me it depends on the situation. If I'm at work then none, as I work in a bike shop. There are literally 50 powerful bike lights just ready to rock and roll at all times / backup emergancy lighting in the building (part of a railway station) and my commute is by bike so there are powerful lights on the bike. Once I get home and for days off I will always have one light clipped in my front right pocket (usually a Kalarus MiX5 or a StreamLight MicroStream). If I leave the house after dark then I'll add a bigger light, which of late has been a NiteRider MiNewt (600 lumens) it's actually a commute bike light but I like the UI and really like that it is USB chargeable so you can charge it almost anywhere as almost every home or workplace has either a computer or a USB wall charger ready to rock and roll. Also my iPhone is nearly always on me so there is a good source of light there from the flashes LED if I'm in a pinch.
4... 2 single 'AAA' led lights and 2 little keyring photon style lights. I carry one set in my bag and one set on me so i always have at least two lights on me. RS...
It amazes me how useful a flashlight is even in well lit areas. I bet half of the times I need a light, its in the middle of the day in a room that is lit up. Before I carried a light I always made due with the available light. I just didnt think I needed one. Now that I carry one, it gets used all the time. Will the available light work? Yes, but the additional light makws things so much easier. Dont underestimate the usefullness of even a small light in your pocket. Sent from my Commadore 64 using Tapatalk 2
Are you making fun of my state of the art puter? On a side note I wonder if a hugely scaled down version of Android could be made to run on one and actually use Tapatalk on it. Might need some hardware tweaks though... Sent from my Commadore 64 using Tapatalk 2
