How many carry multiple knifes and how many knives do you carry?

When I'm out and around, I carry four knives; five if you count the blade on my Leatherman Wingman. The others are a Victorinox Classic and Alox Farmer, a Spyderco Streat Beat as a neck knife and a Fantoni HB01 in a leather pouch in my pocket. If I'm carrying my bag, at least one of my "medium" size Busses; and if I'm going in the woods or someplace like that, I carry one of my larger Busses with a smaller Busse piggybacked to the large.

 

Most days I carry a Swisschamp and 08 Soldier. The Champ is a great Multytool but the wideth can make it awkward when using the knife so I carry the Soldier for when I need a more aggressive knife. The other advantage is the Champ never gets used for food prep because I use it for dirty jobs that I may not want to use a food prep knife for. So I have a "dirty knife" and a"clean knife "

 

I guess I carry three. I usually carry a SAK Cadet and a larger folder (<3.5 inches if at school, probably >3.5 inches if not at school, mostly because I can) and then a LM Wave in my bag. The Wave has come in handy, even as a student, so I leave it in there. I have the bit kits, too, as well as a few other items for a small toolkit.

 

Two. Folder and either my RUT or my custom SAK.

 

EDC is a relative term ...
On my person:
1. Whichever OHO is the choice of the day (cycles between Sm. Sebenza Insingo, PM2, Southard, MiniDejavoo, 940, Sage 1, etc.)
2. Whichever traditional slipjoint strikes my fancy that day
3. Alox Cadet - this is a staple, I always have an Alox Cadet in my RR pocket (silver, olive, or orange)
On the section of my keys that gets left in the Jeep:
1. Spyderco Honeybee
In my Maxped Mini (in the console of said Jeep):
1. Spyderco Delica
2. Small (very small) CRKT fixed blade (can't remember the name)
In the emergency kit (in the back of same said Jeep):
1. Fallkniven F1
2. Spyderco PM2

So ... on my person = 3 or 4
With me wherever I drive = 8

Is that a little extreme? I never counted them up ... feeling like I may be a little obsessive about now ...

 

Often two. A 58mm SAK of some description and either a full sized SAK, or a spyderco or, if I'm on site, a wave or a skeletool.

 

Really like that green peanut! Very pretty ...

 

Any folder I feel suits best for the day + the higonokami.

It weighs nearly nothing and people aren't frightened when I use it.

I usually carry a Spyderco Ladybug H1 hawkbill + a Victorinox midnite minichamp + a larger knife.
Today my choice of the larger knife is Spyderco Techno

 

Three,,, Benchmade 812 early manuf. Rough use,,, have several spares, lost/misplaced several times,, really worn condition.

New very sharp Spyderco Delica ZDP-189 and Spyderco Endura ZDP-189.

I almost always have 2 knives on me. A larger, and a smaller. Right now it's the Kizer Vangaurd Intrepid, and the Spyderco Pingo.
