Thanks for educating me. They've lost my business going forward. I had no idea but I vote with my wallet. -I don't do business with chumps.

Most days, Alox Vic and a Case. These two have been a pretty common combo for me the past few months.

This was the pair for the first half of 2014:

Same Vic - the Alox Cadet. I always carry it or the single-layer Bantam. Usually (but not always) it is accompanied by another slipjoint.

    2. One fixed beater for work purposes and a folder. When I am at home just a folder. Out and about 2. Depends on urban or woods if the main is a fixed or defensive folder.

Nope, I get it. I am just having a hard time adjusting to carrying again. I didn't carry a knife for a number of years and have recently started again and it is a constant battle between my knife and phone in my right pocket... Wish I were ambidextrous!!

I'm right handed (read: retarded with left) and my phone is front left, wallet and knife (and sometimes torch) go in front right. The phone is a grab and switch hands deal, it was weird fit a week, but I'm never going back now. My phone doesn't share a pocket, and when I lean over to grab things, I always bump into things with the right front pocket area, so my phone status safe. The right pocket items can handle that, buy phone screens are delicate.

I always carry a large, one handed opener for big jobs, and a smaller, multi tool for mundane chores. Generally the combo is a RAT1 and a SAK Cadet.

I carry one in my pocket (or boot, if I'm not wearing anything with pockets) at all times. I rotate between the Benchmade Griptilian, Benchmade 300SN Flipper, CRKT Eros (especially if I'm going to be opening a lot of boxes), and the ZT 0900 if I'm feelin' fancy ;) If I'm not carrying the knife in my pocket, then it's in my glovebox or bugout bag.

Yeah I'm the same way. I'm right hand dominant but I keep my phone in the left. 1) I use it alot less than my knife. and 2) It keeps it safer and not scratched up.
When I use it I just pull it out and flick it to my right hand. It's not something I need to quick draw or use all the time so the half a second for the hand switch is fine, and keeps it from geting scratched all to hell.

I'm the same way except for that I use my phone more than my knife generally. I really like this setup, but I've seen people do it completely differently and they're just fine. Whatever works I guess.

Typically 2 on me, modern folder or small fixed blade plus a traditional slip-joint. In my bag I usually have another fixed blade and multi-tool. Today it is a Spyderco Caly 3.5 Super Blue and Great Eastern Beer Scout SFO in my pockets and then a Victorinox Spirit Multi-Tool and a Fallkniven F1 3G in my bag.

Usually I always carry a Wenger Micro Tool Box on a Python clip along with a ITP AAA light dangling from my belt by paracord in a pocket. And a OHO locking knife RFP. However, lately I have been enamored with my Vic Pruner with a hawkbill blade that I sharpened on both sides. It is making me look at the Spyderco Harpy again.

I have a Spyderco Manbug Superblue on my keyring, and a PM2 in my backpack. Once I get the new sheath for the Enuff back from Spyderco, then the Enuff will probably replace the PM2.

    Casual days:

Generally speaking my 'on person' carry is: RF pocket main blade: either a OHO folder, a locking single blade, or a slipjoint of some sort, which may include one of several SAKs. If it doesn't have a clip it either dangles in the pocket or is in a leather slipcase. If I'm in jeans or slaks with a coin pocket, a smaller blade to complement the main blade. Meaning if the main blade is a PE, the complementary blade is a SE; or vice versa. Additionally usually in the same coin pocket a LM juice; not for the blade but it does have one of course! Main blade is changed out as a weekly rotation; the complementary blade is also on rotation as I have two small SE and 3 small PE.

Literally EDC, no matter what I'm doing:

On my keychain: a SAK classic; this one never rotates off.

In either my jacket or my bag, an Opinel No.6 for slicing food. Also in the bag, a LM Blast MT.

    In the car, always:

In the passenger compartment: Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara Rescue; Benchmade 5" rescue hook. In the emergency bag in the trunk (boot for you Brits!): LM SuperTool 300, SAK climber, clone of a Buck 110 (picked up ~ 20 years ago at a street market in Taiwan. Not the prettiest thing in the world, but blade is mirror bright, hefty, and keeps an edge. Despite it always living in the worst environments, never seen a spot of rust!) FAK in this bag also has a SAK classic and a Benchmade 7" rescue hook.

What can I say? I like sharp and shiny toys!
