Why not use the embroidered version and sell the old logo as a patch.
As far as which do you prefer, making a comparison between the two is quite valid.
I agree that the 2 tag styles are certainly quite different. I prefer the subtle look myself, as I believe a quality product should convey the quality by itself and not via a large gaudy tag (not that the original vanquest tag was gaudy but it is in the same vein as the maxped tag and I am guessing vanquest are trying to step away from being a "me too" product.)
I am not a Picasso fan, just trying to say that something that leans toward abstract such as the embroidered rhino is not a bad thing.
I prefer the Rino. He has class.
I like the old logo better, also like the envoy 1.0 better...
The newer logo doesn't really look like a rhino to me,if you insist on changing the old logo (which you shouldnt) It needs to be redesigned.
and I agree with this.
The new one is cool, but without having already knowing it was a rhino, I wouldn't have recognized it.
In fact, I really don't recognize it....I only compared it to the old one next to it.
Not that that would keep me from buuying another Vanquest
Still use my Envoy, daily, with no issues & no wear.
Could you give the embroidered logo another try with something that looks more like a rhino? I really like the embroidered look, but if you still want brand recognition, it needs to look like a rhino.
I like the old logo better. A little bit easier to see. However, I would like it better if it were on one of the Envoy 1.0 Messenger Bags. You guys really need to go back to producing those. Can't believe you stopped and started producing that Envoy 2.0. Maybe you'll redeem yourself with the Envoy 3.0. Maybe...
Old by far! Really dislike the new.
Old. I prefer the patches also.
I'll probably catch heck for this, but neither. Looks an awful lot like the Kifaru rhino. Guess it depends on who started using the rhino first?
Vanquest New: Stylized Representation
Vanquest Old: "Cartoon" representation
Kifaru: Realistic illustration of a rhino.
All use the rhino for their logo, but style and rendering are totally different.
If companies weren't allowed to use the same animal in their brands Ford (Mustang) would be fighting it out an in alley with Ferrari and Baojun.
It was just an observation.
Wasn't slamming.... just a counterpoint.
Well choosing between the two, Old
New one. I prefer discreet over bold and cartoony
