    Hey all!
    I just got my Maxpedition Mini EDC and I LOVE IT.

    I have a pen screwdriver with 3 rows of bits for it each with 10 bits, so 30 all up. They came in their own box, but I want to keep them with me. Each row is a small plastic holder which stands up. So I was wondering how you guys keep your screwdriver bits?

    Search pocket organizers. Several different brands out there. Mainly depends on how you want to carry them, in a bag/pouch or hard case.

    I use bit holder bars, like the ones Victorinox sells for their bit kit, or some similar that I've acquired with small cheap tool kits. Keep them in a bit kit pouch I carry.

    Thanks guys!! I have my 30 bits split into 3 bit bars, they arent as "stable" as I would like. I think I'm going to machine a hollow aluminium cylinder with threads to keep them in my Mini Organiser :D.

    I will post it here when I have done it :D.

    P.S. AK Adventurer I love that pry bar, I just finished my forge so I will make one :D

    If your a machinist try something out of UHMW you could make the fit as tight as you wanted to, or even make the tube out of UHMW that would cut down on the rattle.

    I use an Altoids Smalls tin with my screwdriver bits in my mini EDC. I am not sure how many bits (mixture of 1/4" and 4mm) I have in mine, but it is quite a few. I then put a small cloth in there to keep them from rattling around too much.

    Well, I got curious after my last reply, if there is any other source for bars/holders without buying bits that come in them, i.e. empty bars, other than the Victorinox ones.

    Here's what I've found so far;
    (I have no affiliation with companies,products, retailers, etc, the usual disclaimer, blah, blah, blah.)

    same one for $2;

    A DIY option from here at the forums;
    http://www.edcforums.com/threads/diy-compact-1-4-hex-bit-holder-holds-up-to-100-bits-and-bit-extender.41529/

    That one reminded me, I used to get pill boxes about .5"x1"x2.5", with a couple compartments in them and load them with small sockets an bits to carry. Works good but their noisy.

    A guy on another forum uses a small Plano tackle box, which is a better idea than the pill boxes. You can get these Realy small too.

    (cool thread, actually)

    Don't forget to post it when you do! folks here are nutty for these little pry bars. ;)
    This one isn't anything fancy just a Vaughn ''mini''(about 7") pry bar with the back nail puller hook end cut off. I've got a bunch of damascus stock ordered to make some fancier ones if I can find the time to do it.

    I keep my Leatherman and bits in a Nite Ize holster on my duty belt. Works great. There's a separate pouch for the bits, which makes it easy.

    Well... thats complicated. :)
    it changes every week or two, I'm trying to find the perfect way of carrying it, or at least one that works semi good... not having much luck. In the last few months, its resided in several variations, in Leatherman bit kit sheaths, Skinths, camera cases...

    But, 90% of the time its in this camera case, in a outer jacket pocket, or in the lower leg tool pocket on carrhart pants. Its what works the best so far.

    This week, I have everything but the nut drivers, ratchet, and a few more hex bits, socket extension and wobbler in this pouch. The nut drivers/extra bits on another red bit holder, ratchet, wobbler, mini vice grips etc. are in my bare bones Skinth Plus... And it lives on the dash of my truck, usually close enough if I need it.

    Usually if I don't use the camera case, its in this leatherman sheath, minus 'L' wrench and nut drivers...

    [IMG]

    I have had All of it in this camera case, but it gets a bit hectic to get anything out without dropping a lot of stuff. :(
    [IMG]

    It will All also go in the skinth instead, but same deal, too hard to get things in and out of it.

    The goal is to have all of it in one case, either a clam shell opening type case with loops for each tool, or something custom; I'm trying to design a compact tool roll for it. Problem is, it has to stay in a 3.5"X4.5"X1.5" max form factor to fit, and more importantly, be comfortable in my jacket pockets or I'd just get one of those 5x7 pocket organizers from Condor and be done with it... Part of my pouch search.
