I carry a Fenix P2D (older model) in a belt holster because when it was down in my pocket occasionally it would get turned on. Belt holster for me as I don't really have a place to clip a larger light. And I wear jeans with a belt.

I keep my e2d in a desantis pocket mag holder. Front left pocket. It may work in back left as well.

Thanks for all the advice, guys!

To answer the main question, I stupidly picked up the light because it was everything I wanted, and assumed I'd figure out the clip later.

Found some steel wire around the shop, and put it to good use under some kangaroo. Removable and zero damage to the light.

What do you guys think ? ☺

I'll free pocket, lanyard dangle or use various clasps for smaller lights.

Bigger ones like the Olight tend to sit alone in my coat pocket. If I needed to carry it in my pants I would prob sew up /buy a leather pocket sleeve or something.

Edit: oh nice work :). Just saw what the solution was, lol.

    Nice, man.

If needed, create a fob. I'm a cheapo and have made good looking fobs for less than 15 cents. It helps with grabbing out of the pocket.

So far the closest I have come to actually sewing is repairing a well used Leatherman ST300 sheath.

Very very nice! Now start manufacturing those :) Seriously though a leather 'handle' of that quality for my flashlight is something I'd pay for.

Most of my lights that don't have clips fit in my coin/lighter pocket in my jeans/khakis. Even most that DO have clips fit in there. If it doesn't have a clip and doesn't fit in there it's too large for pocket carry and is in my backpack.

The lighter/coin pocket easily fits an Olight s15 Ti and EagleTac D25C Ti on my pants.

I cannot wait for the shorty tube for the BLF A6 to get here so i can try carrying that EDC. So much power!

I carry an el cheapo Harbor Freight light (leave me alone; I got a great deal on a box of 20 a few years ago and they work fine with a little modding) and it rides in a small pocket on the front of my Blackhawk cargo pants. I suspect that pocket was meant for a magazine.

I'm currently looking for another light, probably something a bit more high quality and with a clip or another carry option.

MAD mod, Crew! Owning a mill/lathe makes you want to scream JUST MAKE ONE every time you read this kind of thread. It's really nice to see some not only actually do it, but do it in a different and more interesting way than you had in mind.
