For the x1CR123: Depends - if I'm wearing cargo pockets, I'll drop it in a side leg with a sheath. Especially if I'm going to be around normal people. Now and then, I'll hook it on my belt, particularly if I anticipate using it or my clothes are baggy enough to cover the holster without drawing unwanted attention. Anything larger usually goes in a grab bag. -Trevor
My Nitecore D10 is just sitting in my left (front) pocket right now. when I get the clip (I'm waiting for it to come back in stock at 4Sevens) it will be clipped to my left front pocket. Just about any EDC light that has a clip will be clipped to my LF pocket (excluding back-ups).
I carry photons on my keys, but usually have a larger (AA or AAA) on my belt in a nylon pouch. I am in the process of making Kydex for them, but need ideas on how to do that. :laugh:
I always have a light in my support side pocket, clipped or inside with a lanyard. If I am wearing a bunch of layers in the winter a add another in the support side pocket of the jacket.
I carry two small lights always in the pockets. I don't like clips and I remove them whenever possible.
At work I carry a TK10 bezel-up in a SF V70 holster on my duty belt, and a fauxton on my keys. In civvies, I carry a Fenix P1D-CE in a belt holster, an ArcAAA-P on a 'biner attached to a belt loop, and the same fauxton on my keys.
If the light has a clip, I'll clip it to a pocket. If it doesn't have a clip then it's usually carried in a pocket.
Usually pocket, sometimes clip. I'm not cowboy enough to carry my flashlight (or my cellphone) in a belt holster.
:iagree: If I'm carrying my Novatac 120p or my Nitecore EX-10 Lately now it's been my Lummi Raw NS... I just drop it into the pocket, or slip it into the coin pocket if I'm wearing jeans.
I carry all my torches in my Maxpedition Pouches like M-1, H-2, M-2 or sometimes in my trousers pocket with clip.
I carry an ARC-P on my keychain, and an SF E1E outdoorsman in my left pocket. They get a little beat up, but they where purchased to be used not to sit in a box. ;D What I really want to see is a special "edc" iphone case with little side pockets for my SAK and flashlight to ride comfortably.
