My lunch box doesn't fit in my edc bag. I feel like I'm moving into my shop everyday. Looking for some good ideas

I use an Igloo soft lunch bag, I carry it separately and when I get to work it fits in the bottom drawer of my tool chest.

What does your typical lunch include? We talking about full boat sammie, drink, fruit, chips and a cookie or something less? Attempting to establish volume of contents.

    Also, gotta love Subway.

Leftovers in a ziplock container. Apple and snack bars. Usually.

OK. How about a "Lock & Lock" plastic storage container. Comes in lots of sizes. Water tight with a gasket. Drop it in a bag you already own. Also dishwasher friendly.

I bring a bunch of shelf-stable food to the office in a reusable grocery bag once every couple weeks and stash it in my desk. microwavable noodles, protein bars, that kind of thing. Daily, I add to this by bringing a thermos of coffee/tea and fresh fruit in my EDC bag,

I use 3 different lunch boxes depending on what I am eating.

1st - A 1973 Superfriends Metal Lunchbox - Yes its a collectors item, and I love it... doesn't hold a lot, but looks geeky
2nd - .30 caliber plastic ammo box - You know I have never needed to lock it in the company fridge - The looks of carrying it into a hospital is kinda funny - I use the cheap ones from Harbor freight, got a dozen or so of them for 1.99 a few years back. Don't have to worry about anything being squished or crushed
3rd - 13 inch Sears soft side tool bag - Can get them for only 5 bucks on sale - Holds more than the others, but can be crushed/squished.

I use a separate cheap lunch bag from Target but clip it to my MOAB 10 via two carabiners. This way I'm only carrying 1 bag technically. When I get to work, unclip and stow in the fridge until lunch. Works very well.

+1 though i use the Glasslock ones instead of plastic, even if they are heavier. I do not worry about them leaking or popping open and simply toss them into my backpack. I don't like the idea of carrying a separate bag, our if I did I'd want some way to attach it to my pack.
