Searched for a tiny metalthingy that dropped to the floor. Didn't find it....
Used the Sidekick to look inside my pc case
Thrunite T10 to see in a closet ceiling corner to spray the ants getting into my house.
Using a corporate giveaway one LED, one AAA battery flashlight, I found the cat toy (a small loop made of paracord) under the computer table so we could play fetch. Apparently I got to go first.
Got stung by a wasp to the side of my head, so I gave my LD12 to the mrs to see if the stinger is still in there. Retaliated by waiting for the day to cool out and sprayed the hive while using said light to see what I'm doing and attract any surviving hostiles away from my face. Still hurts like a mother...
dropped a chunk of copper under my lathe. minimag helped locate it.. and a bunch of sandpaper that got blown under the bench its on.
I was in a hall with somewhat dim overhead lights. Wanted to cut my nails but didn't want to bring my hands all the up to my face in order to see. Also didn't want to bring attention to myself. Used my H52w attached to the edge of the table I was sitting at to provide light and a SAK scissors to cut the nails. I have owned this SAK for about a year and never realized that the hook tool is also a file -- a very small one on one side of the hook. Took some getting used but it worked.
Setup looks like this.
Last night, dinner with my dad and his fiancé in from out of town. We are at Cracker Barrel, my almost-3 son grabs the salt shaker and throws it down. I use my Thrunite T10 to light up under the table so the wait staff and all of us can find the glass bits and sweep up the salt.
A chunk of metal in the disposal found with my Nitecore MT10C.
Nitecore tube to find my D25a that had fallen out of my pocket.
D25a shining light on dog poop again.
Later on I used the D25a while gardening in the dark because it is hotter than the sun in chicago!
Downunder (Australia) we call them "barkers eggs".

I can't even list everything I use my light for on a daily basis, but the unusual thing today was me mounting my Olight S30 inside of a material laminator while it was running. May not have been my smartest idea, but you only live once, and it still works!
Last night on the hotel, double effect with the mirror
I've been on vacation this week and quick odd jobs have required that I use a flashlight several times to see details that my older eyes used to not require help with in the past. This morning it was drywall imperfections and caulk joint lines in our kitchen for an upcoming repainting project over previous wall papered drywall. A few days in a row it was help seeing the details of rifle/pistol cleaning and lube.
Scaring away stray cats while I smoke a cigar...
