I'm considering a case for my iPhone 5 that might hold my DL plus a couple of insurance cards. Those would be things I always have to have and would free up some space in my other front pocket carry system. Anyone use a similar setup?

Like the Wally on kickstarter? I thought that looked nice but I'm using a nutshell which is just a belt sheath

You could try the Maxpedition RAT Wallet. It can hold the phone plus a few other items.

Sorry for the double post but it seems we have two very similar threads going on. I posted this in the other thread:

I use the Nite Ize Clip Case Sideways. It fits my iPhone with a Magpul case on it. There's an internal divider and I can fit a few additional items in there such as cards, cash or more frequently a couple of single use hand sanitizer wipes. I got the large size on amazon for $11. Hard to beat in terms of value. The clip on the rear is plastic but so far I've had no concerns about it.

I love the Ikonic Edge leather cases from New Zealand. Great quality and a simple design. The version with the credit card slot is great. I actually use it to hold a pair of emergency Ebay "flapjack" foldable reading glasses...

My wife uses a Twelve South Book Book and really likes it. Kind of retro looking and very durable.

I checked out the Book Book and it's cool! It may be a bit thick for pocket carry. I think it does not have cutout for camera and has to be removed to take pics, a minor issue.

It has a cut out for the camera, most cases that have room for cards are thick. The SAFE Wallet looks pretty slim.

Someone asked how many cards fit in this case. I just tested my iPhone 5 version. I can comfortably fit a Driver License plus 3 credit cards. With DL + 4 cc's, it is pretty snug. The cards stick out about 5/8" which makes them easy to remove without removing the iPhone.

It may stretch a little with time. I'm using mine for foldable reading glasses, so it's stretched a bit differently. The case is lined with a smooth black fabric, keeping the phone snug, yet easily removable. The ringer works fine as well -- there are small holes in the bottom to let more sound out.

I ordered the Ikonic Edge Card Pouch 3/30/13 and haven't received it yet. I'm so used to a prime membership at another site, that anything over 2 days seems like forever. I have patience for some things, but I wish this case would arrive!

PS - It is coming from New Zealand, so I imagine it will take a bit longer.

OK, so I knew what I was doing by posting the above paragraph. It's like when I used to smoke many years ago. I'd light a cig when I thought it was about time for dinner to be served in a restaurant. With very few exceptions, my firing up a smoke usually meant the meal would be delivered almost immediately.

Well, the case was finally in the mail today. Little tricks such as this work like a champ :)

I have a Style case for my iPhone 6 that holds the phone plus about 8 cards.

I had a smaller case (phone plus 4 cards) before but decided I needed more space for cards.

Both were good cases, depending on how many cards you want to carry.
