Can't remember what that holster is, but the blue thing is a Comtech stinger. Point juts out between your pointer and third finger, much like a brass knuckle, and for the same effect.
Yup, amazing pen. My nib's a little scratchy... I think something to do with the Sailor Jentle ink in it right now. It was running fine with Iroshizuku.
Its a little change pouch based on one I saw a while back on another edc website. If i remember correctly they were from a company called tuftsmania (although I do not know if this was the original) and that they were quite expensive ($25+ for a piece of leather and 2 snaps) so I made my own from some scrap leather. Its just a simple piece of leather folded over with a snap on each side to keep it closed. I like to keep perfect change (3 quarters, 1 dime, 2 nickels, 4 pennies) on my person, as well as just having a place to toss any change i might get throughout the day.
Wed., Thur., and Fri. Except Wed and Thur I had my Apollo space pen... left it in a buddies truck Thur night though.. Ah well, will get it back next week when he gets off work shift again.
I also have two 540's that were in a brief bag that someone sat on last week... So, I guess I should say, "I 'had' two 540's..." The Mini is in my pocket at the moment, with a stub nib (done by Pendleton Brown) from one of the 540's. Loaded with Mont Blanc Alfred Hitchcock ink.
