The shades are American Optical Original Pilots. Super high quality and affordable to - highly recommended. It's an Al Mar Hawk Ultralight in Brown Micarta (it looks black in the picture no?).
Defjus, are your regular glasses Warby Parker's? If so how do you like them. Also what are your thoughts on the Kaweco. I've been thinking about getting one. Great looking gear all around.
It's a Victorinox, model#241309. It was a gift from my dad so I don't have many more details. They are Warby Parker's. I love 'em and get daily compliments. So much so that I practically never wear contacts anymore. The quality is at least as good as anything you'd find at Lenscrafters (which irregardless of name brand are all made by one company - Luxotica) and their customer service is top notch. Plus they are fast, there was less than a week turnaround time from when I first ordered it. At one point I scratched the right lens, completely my fault, but they repaired it for free. They have one year coverage as far as scratches go. Plus, shipping is always free both ways. I only received the Kaweco yesterday but have nothing but good things to say about it. I've had my twsbi with me daily, which I love, but is just a little too big for shirt pocket carry. The Al-Sport fits the role very well. The fit and finish is great, threading is smooth and the metal construction gives it just enough heft. Plus, it's small - even smaller than I thought it was going to be. I just wish it took a converter but on the other hand, it's really convenient to carry a few extra cartridges in my bag. Once I empty out the cart it came with I plan on just refilling with some Noodler's by syringe. AND thanks to all for the compliments, I'm starting to get to a place where I'm really happy with my carry.
Thanks, i like it to. Its made from a few old items actually. First off, the leather is a peace of belt (a belt that has come in handy for many things). The small washers originally come off of an old designer wrist-band which didn't last very long. The two silver ends are two tops of a quick release keychain and the small silver bead thing i just stole from one of my girlfriends bracelets lol. Oh and a little monkey skull lanyard bead for good measure irate: I'll get a better picture shortly and post is in the keychain pics thread
Work is very unfriendly to knives so I've been playing around with this combination lately - liking the blacked out look. Boker on my belt and the Dime on a suspension clip (color blends in much better than brushed look on the P7) - can't tell I'm carrying anything
