It seems like most flashlight holders, hold the flashlight vertically. I am looking for a holder that would hold the flashlight horizontally on the belt, preferably low profile. I want to be able to carry a Fenix PD25 or Nitecore SRT3 or similar size.

My perfect one would be something like the below that would fit a thick 1.5in belt horizontally.

This one only fits 1.25in or smaller.

Thanks, I had seen these with mixed reviews. Some of the complaints were that they lost retention. Do you own one and have you had any issues?

I don’t but I’d like to and the company appears to be rock solid. Maybe contact them and get their feedback.

Seems like a cool pouch, I'll probably pick one up....being its made of some type of elastic, it will fail sooner or later, its the nature of the material. Go into it knowing its disposable.

SOS24, Another option to look into are the rotating holders.

I have found that single mag pouches from the local army surplus store work great for flashlights and multi tools.

Depending on your belt width it might thread through the molle on the back. I think mine is a Condor brand.

Have you looked at the Maxpedition Single Sheath? designed to be mounted on a belt either vertical or horizontal. Perhaps a bit large depending on which light you carry. But very well built. I've been using one since 2015 for my LM plus a couple of auxiliary tools; horizontal carry. Available in black, green, khaki. Presently lists on Amazon for $17 ~ $19 depending on color.

    L'chaim!
