So I'm sitting here wondering if anyone has heard of homemade grips? Not the crappy rubberband ones... But cool-looking, legit ones.

    Anyone???

    I'm open to suggestions too.

I've made a few 16L3B turks head knots as homemade pencil grips with 1mm cotton cord. Stays in place during use, but can still be slid up the pencil as it shortens with sharpenings. I was bored.

The turks heads knots work well enough for me, I've put them to use on both pens and pencils. With a little practice, you can make your own and give it a try. YMMV. :)
