Picked this up last week, 1 of 1 with this wood combination. From a tree planted by George Washington and wood from Thomas Jefferson's Monticello home ( may may not have been planted by him) The lighter wood at lanyard hole is George Washington's tree

He makes some outstanding historical knives.
Got to talk to him and see some of his knives at Blade Show last year.
He had one knife that was made from Stonewall Jackson's prayer tree and a meteorite blade and I think mammoth tusk.
I wanted to see that one pretty bad, but when I got to his table, he said he JUST sold it. :D

over the years i have had something similar happen twice in Atlanta, Just couldn't pull the trigger and purchase the knives and walk down a row or two and decided to buy go back and they were gone. ( maybe 2-3 minutes)...." he who hesitates...."
