Hinderer Investigator Factory O-ring Size

    Aprox. 1 3/4 turns to remove the cap. Also aprox 2 1/2 turns to post the cap on the "Bullet" end. So more threads on the bullet end which is interesting.

    I added o rings to the Investigator about 4 years ago. They weren't that expensive (between $1.50-$2 iirc) Purchased them from Lowes in 2013 under the brand...

    5/32" I.D. (9/32" O.D.) x 1/16" Wall.

    If I had not found the o rings at Lowes I would have tried Home Depot for the Danco brand pictured above. Not sure where to find them now?

    Overall it was a super easy mod. Locating the o rings was hardest part. Thanks to Antithetik, Photoman12001 and everyone who contributed to this helpful post. I posted the pics in the writing instrument picture thread, but wanted to add them here with the o ring size in hopes someone will find it useful.
