I use the Blade Tech for IDPA or when I wear a rigger's style belt typically. Though I have noticed my draw-to-fire times are marginally faster out of the kydex than the leather. Hard to beat the appearance of the leather though.

I've noticed the same thing myself. I love the convenience of the Mitch Rosen Premier, but prefer the consistency you get when drawing from Kydex. I noticed Blade-Tech has a holster called the Hybrid that is Kydex with leather laminated over it. It has the same attachment method as the Premier. It may be the best of both worlds.

Kydex is much rougher on your finish than leather. You have to keep them cleaned out to slow the wear down.

    They're supposed to show wear;D

In all seriousness though, the hybrid would still have the slightly grabbier tendency due to the leather (I was just fondling one about 2 hours ago). I also find that a stainless gun is somewhat less prone to showing the wear than, say, a blued gun.

Nothing says "I use my gun" like worn blue.

I got an El Paso Saddlery Conceal Pro, and surprised to learn that it has the Blade Tech Paddle, in which you can replace with a TekLok, if you prefer to mount on a rigger's/duty belt. They may or may not have changed this configuration, so YMMV. Perfect for the M1911.

Found the black one here, but it's out of stock: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003IZAUZO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=iomatic-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B003IZAUZO

Crossbreed Supertuck deluxe here. It holds my TRP in place all day. (IF I hadn't lost the TRP in a tragic boating accident)

Just broke my own rule and ordered a new leather holster (as opposed to finding one used :)
TT Gunleather "mikes special" reinforced in medium brown with shark trim. Looks like it's going to be perfect

    It'll be this holster:

Got my Milt Sparks Watch-6. Liking it very much... low profile, comfortable, and fits my XD 45 Compact like a glove.

+1. All my leather is by Sparks with the exception of an Alessi ankle holster. Lou knew how to make them comfortable.

I can't vouch for his products, but Matt Del Fatti has a great reputation and his stuff looks really nice. Prepare to wait and shell out for it.

    TT Gunleather.

I have switched all my Milt Sparks holster for TT Gunleathers Holsters.
In my opinion he make the best holsters on the market, he also makes belts.

Because of this thread I just ordered a Mitch Sparks Summer Special 2 for my NAA Guardian .380. Ordered by phone and was told there was a 5-6 month wait.
