An original Burger knives would be nice and I thought about getting one back in the day before starting on the Boker production versions. I've never had the opportunity to handle any Burger customs but all their knife grades look amazing. I do think highly of Boker's versions and if anything the quality has improved over my years of purchasing them. The lack of thumb stud, opening hole or flipper tab makes for a clean look but importantly is a big plus for carry, sharpening and more unimpeded cutting blade length. Opening is easy with a bit of practise and from the dim distant past this is my first ever uploaded YT vid with microscope camera … Not being one to miss a bombing opportunity, here are all my I & IIs. IIRC Boker changed their Exskelimoor name to Exskelibur so they are all consistent. Essentially, one just had fatter handles than the other. Both names are ExTreemlyDifficultToSpell and TBH who cares if the name came from some designer name mashup mutation. Boker Plus Exskelibur II - 440C - gave away to dear friend - super light and capable Boker Plus Exskelimoor II - 440C - nearly worn out but still very useable and elevated to beater status Boker Plus Exskelimoor I - 440C - is the smoothest bronze washer folder in my holdings.
