Hey everyone, been a while. It's been a busy few months. I got a new job in January that started my dropping off the face of the earth. My previous job got too stressful and hostile and I moved on to a new job that doesn't have me sitting at a desk for 9 hours. Hence my absence from the forum. Personal life has also been pretty crazy. Among other things, I've battled a kidney stone which happened during a lapse in insurance due to the new job, our house got flooded with raw sewage and my Jeep broke. Things seem to be on the upswing though. My wife has a promising job opportunity that we're in the middle of interviews for, for one. My Jeep did get fixed, I'm past the kidney stone and we had an emergency fund that was more than enough to take care of both of those, and we can only occasionally catch a whiff of a bad odor in our house. We also sold my wife's Kahr and got her a new carry piece (I'll add pics later), got her a new paintball gun and custom mask and I just got a Leatherman Charge ALX. Aside from stuff, we're doing well personally also. Found a new church home that's getting us engaged well and my Krav instructor (who had stopped teaching) got back into the business. Glad things are looking up for you! My life has been kinda bleh, too, but it's been a little easier, lately. Finals are almost here!
Glad to hear it! Me, being a pastor, think the church family is one of the most important support systems a person can have, so I'm so glad you're getting plugged into a church. Also, glad to hear other things are on the up and up!
You should come to Oklahoma D-Day in June. It's a week of paintball. That'd go a long way to getting you caught up! Yeah she likes it a lot. It's easier to carry, shoots nicer and it's prettier.
There seems to be a growing collection of P938 owners here....nice! I've got the extreme model myself.
She was very specific. She wanted the solid black finish with Rosewood grips, though I kind of like the Extreme. But who am I to argue?
The rosewood is nice too. I think it the same gun but different grips. The sporting goods store where I bought mine had an Equinox available last month. Now there is a sexy gun.
