I have a Maratac mid range bag and a contigo 32 oz water bottle. I'd like to be able to put a molle carrier on the end of this bag. Which one will work do you think? Draw string top will work fine, as will elastic top.

    Pictures for reference:

The carrier would go where the large admin pouch is now and the admin pouch would move to the back side. I'm very interested to hear what you suggest as a water bottle carrier would really complete this load out for me.

I recently got the "skeletonized bottle holder" from ITS Tactical. I like it because it can easily adjust to hold just about any size and shape bottle. It is easy to attached via molle, too. Sorry I don't have pictures at the moment. If I get a chance later I'll snap a couple and post here.

    Good luck!

MaxP make a couple of pouches that would do the job, you can get them in Black too.
They're insulated, which is nice, and have a small pouch on the front.

I have this one as well and I can second the recommendation.

Also, I have the Hazard4 flip pouch which is pretty nice and also the MaxP mini rolly-polly which will also work.

^^^^^ITS Tactical bottle holder. Small when not used and can fit most bottles on the market. Can also be used to carry umbrella, small photo tripod, etc.

Hi. I use a Bulle dump pouch. Can be used for various other tasks too!

I just got a Condor bottle pouch. It seems nice enough, though the zipper doesn't inspire confidence. It has a 3x5 pouch in it too which is nice. I'm using it to dump my pockets into at night.

Is it really? It looks like it would be a pain to reinsert the bottle one handed. Is it? If it is ok, I think it's a great design!

Believe it or not, I'm using a HSGI Taco mag pouch, but I just use bottled water. It works great for those. I think HSGI makes a double Taco mag pouch that should hold most larger bottles, they MIGHT even make a Taco pouch for smoke grenades or bottles that should hold just about anything. I got rid of my Maxpedition Nalgene bottle pouch because it was so big. The Taco is small, light, and multipurpose.

It's very easy as long as you have it setup correctly.

This one. I use it everyday on my Maratac Mid-range. It's perfect.

HSGI is now making the "Soft Taco" which is essentially an MSM Bottle Corset with cordura sides. Looks like it would be great also, but I don't have one myself.

Thanks guys. I'm torn. I think I'd prefer an open top on this particular bag, just for what I'm using it for.

I'll look in the forum store. Can that vanquest be attached with molle? I looked at the hsgi setup. It's currently the front runner.

Yes, they can. The only negative I see with them is that they are only attached at the top of the pouch, allowing for ample "bottle flop".

Do you have any problems with the bottle "rolling" front to back as you are moving? I love the look of the holder, but am worried that with only one PALS column it would not be as stable as one that takes two or more.
