    Hi there,

Love this forum, although I think it will cost me big time!

I love camping and gadgets and have got a small addiction to survival tools, torches and more recently EDC and bug out bags.

I just bought a Maxpedition Sabercat for all my camping type tools and realised that having a small EDC pouch would be a good idea. So just got a new Maxpedition Mini Organiser today - thanks to Hennie (love this company!).

Anyway see a pic of what it has in it right now - more to add later! Thought it was about time I said hi.

Nice to see another Brit on the forum!

That Maxpedition organiser looks tidy and you're right about Heinnie being a great company (at taking my money that is)!

If you're carrying that Boker Keycom everyday without a 'good reason' then you might end up in some trouble with the law as it does lock open. Remember, knives must have a blade of less than 3 inches and be non-locking to be legal for EDC in the UK.

    Thanks guys.

Yeah I did wonder about the Boker. I replaced it today with a Leatherman Squirt PS4. Don't want to mess with the law! ;)

    Welcome aboard, Rachel.
Great to have another UK EDCase here who shares my (our) obsession with bags, lights, sharps & gadgety thingies!!

You'd have to be VERY unlucky to be in trouble for EDC'ing that tiny Keycom, locking or not, so dont get TOO caught up in the hysteria surrounding locking folders.

Heinnies is indeed a great site.

(By the way, One of those neat n nifty Micro Grappling Hooks would look GREAT in that EDC Organiser! I have one in my TAD OP1. Very handy for rescuing keys & small items. Ive rescued my keys countless times (admittedly, when Ive thrown them on onto the lounge floor!) with mine.)

Ah..The long winter evenings just FLY by!!!!

Just got the grasshopper, lovely wee thing. Cut my thumb to ribbons on it. What is it they say about a sharp knife? It's WRONG. :)

While you'd have to be unlucky to be busted for the Boker, it is still illegal, Stutoffee, so not something that should be done whether the law is stupid or not.

As for the Grasshopper, I say go for it! They're great knives and you get a lot of blade for the handle length. Love mine to bits and they take an impressive edge very easily. Perfect EDC until the Spyderco Squeak comes out!

Hi from West Sussex Rachel. Good to see the addiction afflicts the odd female too.

Just got a MaxP organiser too, handy bit of kit.

Hi Rachel, +1 for the Grasshopper had one on my keys for about a year now, sweet little blade. Mainly use the knife on my juice now though but still a great back up. The only problem your gonna have now is trying to stop your self buying everything thing you see on Hennie, i must visit the recent additions page a dozen times a day :)

Welcome along Rachel, as Stu has pointed out your Boker could get you in trouble, but then so could a lot of things.

    Enjoy the forums.

Very nice little bag you've got there. Might I suggest a small hank of 550 cord.
