I was born in London but married a Yorkshire Lass and have lived in Yorkshire for over half my life. We raised the family in a city suburb and move to a small agricultural village 15 years ago. My EDC thing is really just folding knives and small key-ring torches. The latter started with a Fenix E01 and is still there although I have three of them with one always on me when I'm out of the house. My big thing is pocket knives and that all started with a 1972 Case Eisenhower a long time ago. The collection has grown over the years and includes old Sheffield dowagers picked up at car-boot sales and new folders which take my fancy. A very few are seriously expensive commissions and at the other end of the scale are knives costing just a few pounds. Most recently I have saved for a good while to commission a Lanny's Clip which Shing is making for me. Hopefully it will be ready soon. As an EDC there is always a SAK Spartan in my jeans pocket or something a bit more elegant if the occasion warrants it. My main purpose is to learn more about anything knife-related and I played on British Blades Forum until its demise. I still miss it. That's about it for now. Best wishes to all for 2019.
Welcome from Dallas, Texas. I still have my first knife a Buck Lancer. Then I became a knife collector.
