and Thanx! to all members of our U.S. Armed Services, current & past.
Home of the Free, BECAUSE of the Brave!

EchoFox is already on our list for a free +1 Supporters Badge.... billybogota & gibbsrule9 were MAJOR donors of these free Badges.....Borricua11 has his +1.....I'm thinking we need to give one to Kidplunge & to Wfs29223.

    Can I hear a second?

Rose Barracks, Germany. Kinda sucks being in Germany because of all the weapon laws, then again, I am actually saving money over here because I am not buying said weapons so...

That's the plan. I am asking for a Charge TTi for Christmas. I was thinking about the Mut but I think it's just a little too much for everyday use. I also didn't want a combo blade. Thoughts?

Well Echo if you ever get to Mannheim there are 2 real good shops to visit there and there is a major out door store. If you want more info on them private me and I will give you the information on them. I was on Coleman barracks but since left Germany and now on Fort Polk.

Sounds like a plan to me dude. I have never seen the point of serrated blades, other than for a dedicated rescue blade they just get in the way for me. I have a LM Charge Tti and it's my favourite of the whole lineup, my little baby. Also the charge has an S30V blade, which is much better than the 420HC blade of the MUT. That said, if you're a gunny who wants to use it a lot on his rifle, I know the MUT is designed for just that and it's heavier duty, and it has replaceable wire cutters. Something only you can weigh up I guess!

If you really can't decide, I have the perfect answer. Buy both. :D

Talk to your supply guy, you'd be surprised what multitools are banging around in the supply system--or if you have any contacts with the 10th Grp guys over there, their supply guys might be able to hook you up.

Things sure have changed there in Germany. When I was there in Bamberg(70-71) I carried a swithchblade all the time, guess it all went to h e l l since then.:furious: By the way I still have the knife too.
