It's getting hotter here in Florida and I decided to switch out my edc gear today. Took off my edc G30 and carried my Gen 3 G19 with Crimson Trace grip today. I'm so used to my G30 that I don't notice the weight but the G19 is noticeably lighter. Even the spare G17 mag is noticeable vs G21 mag.
I just picked up a Glock 43 a couple of weeks ago. I think the G19 is going to get some time off this summer.
G 21 SF Day in and day out. When I was young, I hunted and trapped with a "good ole boy" who used 1 gun for everything ......deer, squirrels, rabbits, ducks and geese. He used an old Winchester single shot and he NEVER missed. I on the other hand, had a different gun for everything. I asked him why he was such a better shot than me; and he answered saying "You shoot too many different guns". That advice sticks with me still and so I shoot a G 21 SF and carry it or one of it's clones every day. And I usually hit what I shoot at. This is just one person's preference; that's all.
I understand what you're saying but shooting a G30 and other double stacked Glocks will be very similar. Similar grip, same angle, same trigger pull...
"One gun, one holster in the same place each and every time." -John Bianchi Former Police officer, holster designer & maker
I will switch between a G19 and a G26 on occasion. But they use the same holster in the same location
Depending on what I'm wearing I'll either go with my Shield with inside the waist holster, or Sphinx SDP with outside the waist holster.
Switched from Glock 23 (White Hat max tuck holster) to a Glock 43 (Hawg holster). Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
I just recently purchased a P224 which is going to replace my P938 as soon as I get it broken in. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Yep. After years of carrying a Colt Lightweight Commander, I just recently picked up a Ruger LC9s. It's ridiculously easy to carry with a pocket holster in the back pocket of my jeans.
Recently went back to carrying my HK after my CZ P-02 decided it was identifying as an SMG. I do switch out what size I carry depending on the weather and work schedule. Mostly it's my P30SKS, but the VP9 gets carried on weekends.
I change with the weather and occasion myself. I'll carry a 1911 some in the winter, but typically I just carry my Glock 43. I'll carry 115 gr. JHP in the summer, but I'll change to 147 gr. JHP in the winter due to heavier clothing.
Went from a Shield to a Gen4 G19. I carry AIWB in the setup below and it disappears under just about any shirt I own. And it's comfy too.
who makes that holster? I'm looking for one like that, but without the stand off plastic piece. I'm having a hard time finding a good IWB one clip holster for a walther PPS that's under $100
Here is a link to the ebay seller. http://www.ebay.com/usr/thanksman232. I paid $35 for this one. The claw is instrumental in how well this holster conceals. It pulls the grip in tight. But if you're not carrying AIWB I guess it is not important.
