Hi EDCForums, Anyone used any pelican/storm cases for sunglasses? I am looking for a case that is large enough to carry some sunglasses (2 at a time). On our most recent vacation, I took some for the water and then another set as backup. Thus, I had two cases for the trip. Just looking for options to carry both in the same case. Thanks everyone!
I have been interested in the hard molle mount cases like tactical tailor makes (I have their large version too big for sunglasses IMO) for ease of mounting on bags/packs etc. Will probably pick up a pelican micro case for the truck whenever I get around to buying nice glasses...
I'd get two pelican 1030 cases. They're a lot easier to work into luggage than one larger case. They're also cheap and durable.
Do they have to be hard or soft cases? Either way I’d look at Oakley cases. Some of their tactical cases easily hold two pairs of shades.

Just seems like they may only fit one set though. @onebadwagon - thats always an option. presently looking for one case to hold both. can always go for two cases if that doesnt pan out. @MCPOWoller - its a personal preference to go hard case. currently, i have a pair of costas (with a soft/somewhat hard case) and then another pair of oakleys (with a softer case with minimal crush protection).
Ah I am glad this came up, I need a hard case for my Oakleys. I did look in an Oakley outlet, but they were so expensive.

@Rdog - thanks. That's very similar to my Costa case, so yes, not entirely what j am looking....yet thank you for posting as someone may need the link or be interested in that case in the future.
I like the Hazard4 case, but it seems to be very similar to the Duluth Trading one linked above. It is very durable though, I have it attached to my bag the same way.
+1 on the Hazard 4 case. On the strength of the posts in this thread I went ahead and ordered one in khaki from Amazon. Very happy with it. I have a pair of Nike that ride in it. L'chaim! Moshe ben David
I wear safety glasses (jackson nemisis) as sunglasses so I have this because they fold up weird and don't fit in a normal case. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LY9NKO4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Depending on the glasses I would bet 2 pair that fold normal will fit in it. It's only semi rigid, has a nice lining, not molle, clips on. Been carrying one for a year on my bag and it's help up great.
I'd say probably Pelican 1030, 1040, 1050 or 1060 depending on the size of the glasses when folded up.
