Not me, sorry. Mine are cheap and boring too, plain cotton. I keep thinking they'll get softer the older they get but they haven't yet. Maybe I need linen ones?

I use desert tan ones that I bought online or these MARPAT ones:

I just got a couple of yards of heavyweight MARPAT cloth, took it to a local seamstress and had her make 24" X 24" and 36" X 36" handkerchiefs. Average cost was about $1.50 each.

Problem is I actually use them for blowing my nose. I'm naturally runny, I guess. Don't want to defile a work of art!

I'm making another batch of hankies tonight and thought I would share. The bottom three fabrics are in the manufacturing stage. It's beer'o'clock, so I'm sipping on a delicious local IPA while cutting some fabric!

I get mine from the dollar store - remember to soak them in cold water first! Nothing fancy, but cheap. Other than those, I have a stack of plain white ones...I'm so boring.

Last time I bought new cotton hankies I boiled them I water for about 20 minutes and then washed them. I don't remember where I read that ( probably on here somewhere) but it worked, they were soft and broken in.

Ah, I don't have an issue. I have lots, so when they get used I wash them. Doesn't take long to soften me up.

I use cheapo bandanas. And yes, I had to wash them 90 times to make them soft, I wish I had thought about boiling the starch out of them.... but once soft, so nice! And my EDCF buff gets a work out in the summer as well.
