Probably not. I know the feeling. Great pics, great gear. Too bad I watched them. Didn't realize I absolutely needed one of those t-shaped things.
"If you take the blue pill, story begins; you take the red one, story ends" (Matrix) I take the EDC blue pill every morning... Nice combos myfriend, i was sure about that score !. Nick
Thanks, it's funny how you find out you need lots of things you didn't even know existed until you join this forum, there must be some kind of conspiracy theory going on!!
I think you've got it bad, you need an EDC doctor right now! If I carry on at this rate my kids and wife will divorce me, need a month or two off from buying now.
Stop blabbering and fishing for excuses. Just buy more stuff, you know YOU WANT TO! How is that for an EDC doctor? You don't even have to pay a fee, I am sponsored by the industry.
Quite right, resistance is futile! And many thanks doctor antithetik I feel much better now, just needed a good talking to! Anyway I don't drink or smoke so I could have a lot worse vices to feed!
Just had the last useless fight on the evilB, lost a bunch of time and no fishes aboard. Well, just going to post my last Vic old cross, had it with no loss of time upon bidding's playgrounds... See ya. If you want, that must be said ! Nick
Made this keychain hangar this weekend out of brass. Also made two others but are copies of popular items so better not show them!
I really like that. Have been attempting to make something similar myself! Now as for this whole blue pill thing... It's not a diamond shape with a V marking is it? That's going to stir a whole set of different emotions in the morning (and your trousers too)!
Yes, seems it's been a busy weekend for three of us with the same thing on our mind. I've made UFO and gamble copies too out of brass. Now the blue pill........not the one your talking about, thankfully haven't had the need for one of those yet!! and hopefully @Nick4305 hasn't either!!!!
Bought this SAK today from a Sunday market. All unused tools but also all quite badly seized. Been soaking it in plus gas all day and it's freeing off nicely. Think it's an older woodsman but if anybody has more info that would be great.
Funnily enough I've been doing similar with old knives found in Antiques shops lately. Found a mint Richards Mother of Pearl Pocket Tool Kit, still in its original packaging with the instructions. Have also found some very, very old miniature friction folders. I have taken them apart, soaked the blades in WD40 for a week at a time, before rubbing them down with 400 grade wet and dry (again using the WD40) then polishing with Peek metal polish. I'm now on the 3rd treatment and I'm really pleased with the results. Got to find something suitable as a rivet / pivot pin. The original was some kind of pewter I think. Will post the before and after pics when I'm done.
After it being ok'd to show the photos, here's what I knocked up over the weekend, don't look too hard though they're not exactly perfect!!
