Have a good trip buddy. Are you taking the Landy? Hurry back though, I was having a mare of a day on Sunday with resources going VOR. Almost dropped you a line to see if you could help! Safe journeys and enjoy!
Thanks mate, looking forward to it, never been before. Not taking a vehicle on the ferry, the Landy is safely tucked away in my workshop awaiting work on the engine, must get it done asap as it's needed to tow the caravan away for Easter. Nightmare with your vehicles, hope you've got them all working again! Cheers
Just picking up the last of the 3G leaving the Humber estuary. Fairly smooth up to now but took sickness tablets just in case !
Back from a lovely few days away. What a beautiful place Amsterdam is, highly recommended. Also it just happens to have an excellent knife shop there. Got this little chap from there, Was great to handle some the knives to get the feel of them and definitely got a few more on my wish list! Also got home to find the Gamblemade FM1 had arrived.
Thanks Nick, covers most small tasks I think! Just waiting on the Quantum D2 to arrive to try it out on there.
Been busy tonight helping with school projects and almost forgot I had this little Jem delivered today, 5 days to arrive from China, happy with that!
I'm afraid they're both great, so more spending!! The Gamble is great at organising your keychain and helps keep your stuff flat in your pocket, a worthy addition. I haven't had much time with the quantum yet but first impressions are good, nicely engineered, neat USB battery charger, the head is tight to turn but with some lube on should be fine, good light output for its size but doesn't last to long on full power. Definitely a good keychain back up light that looks cool!
I'm sure you'll get great satisfactions from your D2, friend ! Waiting to see a pic of your new setup. Nick
Thanks Nick I'm sure I will! Will get pics sorted soon, the Land Rover is taking most of my time up at the moment, I've got the head off the engine and away at the engineers so can't do much now for a few days. Must update the LR thread to keep it up to date, not enough hours in the day, well there is, it's just that I like sleeping for at least 7 of them!!!
Loving the Quantum, a few keychain set ups, The very minimum, quantum and a small sak, With pry bar added, Swap the sak for a squirt, I do feel quite lost without a set of pliers on me, my fingers really don't like small fiddley things so pliers really come in handy, Really like the keychain options I have now, next to buy would be another P7 and FM1 to have two sets. Also think I need the TEC Isotope with red trit to go with the minichamp. Oh god, I'm never going to be finished am I??
