I was looking for a small pouch, that I could carry my ThruNite Ti3, and Leatherman Squirt in. I came across this thread http://edcforums.com/threads/the-griffin-pouch-eu-group-buy.126635/ and thought this would be perfect. Got the pouch in this evening. Seems to be decently made: Ti3, and Squirt fit in it nicely: In all honesty, you wouldn't be able to squeeze too much more into it, unless it was flat: Size comparison: Will work perfectly for what I wanted it for. Small enough to not notice it in your pocket, and protects my gear. Thanks Dao for posting up the thread I linked earlier, appreciate it. Just what i was looking for.
I now have the Leatherman Squirt, ThruNite Ti3, flash drive, 2 AAA batteries, a little cash, and a few band aids in it. Works out great, I love it.
Haven't noticed this thread earlier. I'm glad you're liking it. Hoping mine will arrive eventually too...
Not sure if it can be posted here if not could you please PM me but where did you purchase them from? Thanks. Edit: NM found them thanks.
Interested to see what everybody uses them for. I kind of want one but don't have a real need for one that I can think of
I don't have mine yet, but I'm planning to put a minimalistic electronic cables and stuff kit in it. USB extender, regular -> mini/micro converters, audio cable, micro SD -> regular SD, flash drive, etc. Maybe spare earphones but I'm not sure those will fit. I'm getting more of them, might come up with other uses.
Yeah, a charger will fit, but with not much room to spare (depending on the charger). I keep my charger in my backpack separately.
I meant a backup charger, not a plug in the wall version. I have a 4000 mah that I keep in my edc bag and it is nice to keep it in its own pouch, with the short charge cable.
Got mine today and can't believe how small it is. Now to find the perfect contents for this fantastic little pouch. Carl
I picked up a few of these and gutted the padding from one. Here is the loadout, and it carries very well even in a running short pocket.
Gutting the padding is a great idea to improve the capacity of these tiny cases. Where did you cut to remove the padding and did you restitch?
