I'll see whats in my archive one of these days. It's bloody hot in here (32 degrees celcius) so I'm trying to be as much outside as possible since it's a bit cooler there.

I'll keep you guys (and girls ;) ) informed!

Welcome, I have a friend in Veghel. He and his wife have made two trips to the States and spend some time with us in Texas seeing the sights.......We may be going over there sometime this year..

Sorry for taking your thread Goliath but as some of you asked for some pics I'll post up a couple...

Sorry for the bad quality of some of these pics but it was 7:30 AM and I hadn't slept at all... So don't even start thinking about the way I looked like while taking these pics  :lolhammer:

And yes this is my dog right there... Too bad he's looking down though...

Here's one from a place where I hang out most of the time. It's a small concrete island in the middle of the water surrounded by appartments. You can pretty much do whatever you want right there  ;D
    [IMG]

Hmmm just thought that no one might actually see them... If someone wants me to make another topic just tell me where I should put them since I can't really think of a good place to post them...

I'll get some more (and better) pics if you want  :D

Pretty much hang out with my friends. Most of the times we put down some speakers and some nice relaxed hiphop drink a beer or *uhm* something else  :-X In summer we light a campfire there which is illigal but cops won't really bother as long as we don't make it too high. We aren't there all the time I actually prefer going down to the woods although some of them aren't really safe at night... I just LOVE campfires and the woods are the perfect place to make one if you ask me  :knuppel2:

But please don't judge me (I know some dutchies will) I'm not the guy that will bother anyone else. I just need a place to hang out and get away from home where no one will bother us.  :D

Yeah Goliath I'm sorry I was tired as hell at the time. I'll get some new ones as soona s possible :-X

YEA! It's a Friesian Hound!  We know someone in our area originally from the Netherlands who raises and trains Friesian horses for driving and Friesian Hounds!

The Breakroom might be a good place to post more pics.

    Thanks!

No problem! My dog is actually a bit too big for a Friese Staby (that's the dutch name) but anyway I just love my dog no doubt about that. And you know the funny thing is if you go to the lake with him without a tennisball at all you'll come back with 7 :lolhammer: Somehow he manages to find all the lost balls from other dogs

Well here are some pics from my archive, which is only a few years old since I'm only 19 and started 3 years ago with digigal photography, didn't scan all my analog pics.

    Anyways here we go!

The biggest protest march in I think decades, 300.000 people where here in Amsterdam for a manifestation against the government.

    Also at manifestation
    [IMG]

Some typical dutch heathland, near my home town.

Main office of our Dutch telephone company (KPN) in Rotterdam
    [IMG]

Perhaps the most famous bridge in the Netherlands, called the Erasmusbrug, also in Rotterdam
    [IMG]

Another photo of Rotterdam, near the biggest harbor of Europe.

Sunset at a lake at my hometown
    [IMG]

Another typical Dutch field with butterflowers, no idea where this is to be honest
    [IMG]

View at the sea from a Dike
    [IMG]

View at the same sea, now from the beach. Check the windmills at the end, also typical Dutch, and no these are not the old fashioned ones but very modern ones to generate electricity ;)

A hawk in my garden (which is very rare since we live in an ubran enviroment), which attacked a crow. This is also very rare since they are almost as big as the hawk!

Well, these aren't my most pretty pics but it's what you've asked for ;)
When I run into some other pics; I'll let you know.

    My pleasure.

It's a nice country indeed, but it gets a bit boring after 19 years ;) Almost everywhere is the same view, I really miss some mountains etc :(
Ah well, can't have everything :)
