Anyone using GRAYL water purifier bottles? I’m especially interested in experience with the GeoPress.
I bought one some months ago, but until now, I have only use it with stream water and still haven’t tried it with stagnant water from a pond. Haven’t had any problems with the water from the stream, but still need to test it with stagnant or real dirty water. I like, that it also works as a container, so you don’t need an extra to purify the water in.
Thanks for the info. I live in an area with a large chemical plant, so I like the fact that it is supposed to also filter out some chemicals and heavy metals. Good to know that you haven’t had any issues so far.
I have the original one (in darg green) and also picked up the all black one for my wife. We've used them when hiking and they work really well. They don't fit water bottle pockets on backpacks very well (at least on our Savottas so that a thing. Little to no chance of presence of virus in water in the US so we focus on removing the bugs, silt and germs.
Thanks for all of the responses and glad to hear positive experiences. I placed an order for one this afternoon. A bit pricey, but not as costly as drinking tainted water!
I saw a YT video that popped up in my recommended. Got an orange model from Amazon. Using the Amazon card and 5% back was the least expensive option.
